Todd Nikolai Memorial Dinner

As many of you know, on June 3rd, Todd Nikolai passed away. For those of us who knew Todd over the years, from Dorothy Lane Market to Vintner Select and everything in between, it has been a very sad and difficult time.
Todd was a huge supporter of the Winds over the years. He shared our vision of local foods, seasonal menus and wines that reflect, that often over used word, terroir. We feel honored to host a dinner featuring many dishes Todd loved along with some of his favorite wines.
As David Schildknecht so eloquently wrote, “The least of his gifts to those who worked with him was to remind us at one and the same time that wine should not be taken too seriously, yet that wine is also about much more than wine.”
Todd knew what many of us in this business know…Food and wine are about community, family, sharing, faith, negotiating, farming and so much more. Please join us to celebrate the life of Todd Nikolai, a loving father and husband, a great friend and one of the quirkiest people I’ve ever met. David Schildknecht will be our MC for the evening.
